How to prepare Palak Chicken

INGREDIENTS

  • Total Time: 40 mins
  • Preparation Time: 30 mins
    • Chicken- 1 lbs (cut into desired pieces)
    • Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
    • Garam masala – 1 tbsp
    • Roasted Cumin Powder -1 tbsp
    • Salt – as needed
    • Yogurt – 4 tbsp
    • Ginger Garlic Green Chilly paste – 1 tbsp
    • Fresh Spinach (Palak) – 1/2 packt
    • Green Chilly – 2 nos
    • Salt – 1/2 tbsp
    • Finely chopped Big Onion -1
    • Finely chopped Tomato -1
    • Nutmeg Powder – 1/4 tsp
    • Oil/Butter- 2 tbsp
    METHOD OF COOKING:
    • Mix all ingredients from batch 1 and allow it to rest for about 1/2 hr
    • Wash your spinach well and Microwave Batch 2 in little water for about 2-3 mins and allow it to cool.
    • Heat oil or butter into deep vessel and saute onions until it becomes golden brown.
    • Add tomatoes and saute it until it becomes a thick gravy.
    • Add batch-1 marinate the chicken into pan and little water
    • Let it boil well until chicken is well cooked
    • Now grind the cooked spinach and blender it by adding little water to form a paste
    • Add spinach paste and nutmeg powder into chicken pan.
    • Cook it for 5 more mins.
    • Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves. Be ready to have Palak chicken.
    • Serve the palak chicken with hot chapatti, parrota or any fried rice.
