Chicken Tikka Recipe to try at home

INGREDIENTS

  • Total Time: 40 Mins
  • Preparation Time: 30 Mins
    • Yogurt/Curd: 4 tbsp
    • Ginger Garlic Curd: 1 tbsp
    • Turmeric powder: 1/2 tbsp
    • Cumin powder: 1 tbsp
    • Garam Masala powder: 1 tbsp
    • Kashmiri Chilli powder: 1 tbsp
    • Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
    • Oil: 2 tbsp
    • Required salt
    • Pepper: 1/4 tsp
    • Boneless chicken pieces: 1/2 kg
    • Capsicum / Bell pepper: 1
    • Onion: 1
    METHOD OF COOKING:
    • In a mixing bowl just add yogurt, ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, Turmeric powder, garam masala, chilli powder, oil, lemon juice, pepper and salt. After adding all ingredients mix it nicely.
    • Just Add boneless Chicken pieces, Onions, Bell pepper to masala mixture and coat it well within mixture. Bell peppers, Onions and chicken into equal size.
    • Just marinate for about 30 to 60 mins for best results to marinate it all overnight into the refrigerator.
    • After marinating the chicken just arrange on to a skewer, place up the bell peppers and onions.
    • Just preheat oven to 450 F and bake for 10 mins on one side then flip it on another side just bake it for about 10 to 15 mins.
    • Once chicken is well done broil it for about 2 mins to get nice color on chicken pieces. Just leave the chicken pieces from touching pan to prevent chicken boiling from its own juices.
    • Heat iron pan and great it up with oil, Place up the chicken skewers and cook till chicken is done fully, just make sure to flip up in between to ensure even for cooking.
    • Our delicious chicken tikka is ready, squeeze little bit lemon juice on top before serving.
